The Carbon Footprint Calculator Extension ("Extension") is developed by Really Good Work Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"). This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our Chrome extension that measures the carbon footprint of webpages.

Our commitment: We believe in privacy by design. This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or user data.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be crystal clear: we do not collect any personal information, user data, or browsing history. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Browsing history or website visit data
• IP addresses or location data
• User preferences or settings
• Email addresses or contact information
• Device information or browser details
• Usage analytics or tracking data

How the Extension Works

Local Processing Only

Our extension analyzes webpage performance metrics (such as load times, file sizes, and request counts) to calculate carbon footprint estimates. All calculations are performed entirely on your local device. No data leaves your browser.

Temporary Caching

To improve performance and avoid recalculating the same webpage multiple times, the extension temporarily caches calculation results in your browser's local storage for up to 5 minutes. After this period, the cached data is automatically deleted.
